Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol

Location: Concord, California

Time: 8am - 4pm

This course will dispel the myths and cover techniques to accurately deploy the RDS pistol.  Shooters should have prior pistol experience, as this will be an accelerated class with limited downtime.

– Safety and medical brief
– RDS related equipment, mounting, maintenance, care, and considerations.
– Zeroing
– RDS aiming and off-set
– Finding the dot from the holster
– RDS malfunctions
– Transitions/multiple targets/movement
– Lowlight shooting and the dot

Required Equipment:

– RDS equipped pistol, holster, and three magazines.
– 400 rounds of pistol ammo
– Eye and ear pro
– A permanent marker
– Handheld flashlight
– Spare batteries for RDS and light
– Clothing for the weather.
– Water and/or snacks
